In 2016 I was invited by Tai Kwun for their inaugural exhibition, “100 Faces of Tai Kwun”. In this project I created 250 story illustrations based on the 100 oral histories interviewed by Tai Kwun, and it took two years from preparation to exhibition. This exhibition is a straightforward form to portray a community story. During the three-month exhibition period, there are more than 300,000 people visited. The entire exhibition completed by our tripartite contribution: the curatorship by Tai Kwun, the exhibition design by the ADO Culture and me (the only participated artist). On the opening day, more than 100 interviewed kai fong were invited.
